Typically, a crown can be done in about 5-7 days, but it also depends on whether the tooth is fractured and/or needs a root canal. If your dentist is comfortable doing root canal for molar teeth and uses modern technology like digital scanning, then 1 week turnaround time is possible. Otherwise they may need to refer you to an Endodontist for the root canal. If the tooth is damaged beyond repair, it may need extraction.
It is possible, if there is no need for any foundation restoration (such as a root canal or a cast post) or procedures to treat the gums. The lab will charge a rush fee as well, in addition to the regular price.
