Yes! Mouthwash, in conjunction with brushing and flossing can help give your mouth a complete clean. Bacteria, in the form of plaque, does not only grow on teeth. It can also be found on your tongue and inside of your cheeks. Using mouthwash can help eliminate this bacteria that causes tooth decay and gum disease. It is important though, to discuss which mouthwash you should use with your dentist to help with your specific needs. For example, people who suffer from dry mouth should avoid mouthwash that contains alcohol. So check with your dentist on which one would work best for you!

Yes, you can, but if you are using it every day, it’s better if it’s non-alcoholic or minimal.

Yes you can.
Mouthwash is a good adjunct to brushing and flossing. Typically there is no harm in using it even multiple times a day. Just be aware most contain alcohol so will have a drying effect on the tissues in your mouth. There are also a few which will build up stain on your teeth. This stain can usually be cleaned off quite easily by your dental professional.
