My friend was diagnosed with anorexia. I want to help her. Can a psychiatrist help with anorexia?

Yes, psychiatrists can provide therapy and medications to help manage anorexia.
I agree with the above Meds are only an augmentation only when patients are delusional and have body dysmorphic disorder than the antipsychotics may help.
