Can a sinus infection go away?

I have a sinus infection. Can a sinus infection go away? Should I take medications?

It is possible for a sinus infection to resolve naturally with a Sinus Rinse solution that irrigates out the microorganisms that propagate infection in the sinus cavities. A good one to try that also alleviates sinus inflammation is SinusReLeaf Natural Sinus Rinse (https://www.sinusreleaf.com). Other remedies include antibiotics, steroids, decongestants, but these medications can cause side effects sometimes. When a sinus infection becomes chronic (lasting longer than 3 months), it becomes harder to get rid of, and sometimes a Sinus Procedure may be necessary to restore the normal drainage and function of the sinus passages.
Most often they tend to resolve on their own but an antihistamine (allegra) can resolve the symptoms more quickly. If, however you have purulent drainage an antibiotic would be appropriate.
