Yes it can. There is a specific protocol for sleep problems. Also acupuncturist will help you to discover the reasons for insomnia.

Hello,
Yes, acupuncture can help sleep issues. It helps calm the nervous system and ceates a relaxed state. I treat a lot of sleep issues in the office and from my experience as a patient and practitioner I find it very helpful in people's lives.

Yes depending on the cause of your sleeplessness, Acupuncture can be very effective in helping you get a good night's sleep.
First one must find out why they are not sleeping. An acupuncturist will do an intake to decide what is the source of the problem. Sometimes the problem is diet and lifestyle. The acupuncturist will coach you on what needs to be hanged. Other times the person is out of balance or stress and acupuncture will certainly help with that. Other times there may be an organ or channel issue and herbs need to be prescribed along with acupuncture. Acupuncture threats the entire body. It is not western medicine oriented where a "pill" is given to stop the symptoms and not address the underlying cause. Not sleeping is a symptom, not the problem.
Hello,
Acupuncture and Chinese medicine can help with insomnia. There are a number of reasons why you might have difficulty sleeping, and an individual assessment and plan is required.

Acupuncture is not considered a routine treatment for sleep problems. Most insomnia in young people is related to sleep habits and possibly depression or anxiety. You should discuss this with your physician.
Yes, acupuncture can help with sleep. We have herbal himalayan salts that help remove toxins and increase blood flow and circulation for a better night's sleep.
During acupuncture sessions for other than insomnia medical conditions patients are so relaxed that they usually are falling asleep.
Also, there is an acupuncture treatment for insomnia that is very effective, safe, and assumes no sleep medicines that may cause any side effects and addictions.

Hello! Acupuncture can be helpful with any sleep issues, whether it’s trouble staying asleep or falling asleep. Often times it may be combined with Chinese herbs or Western herbs to maximize results, however, acupuncture alone is helpful for most people.
I do get good results with using acupuncture to help with sleep, especially if it is combined with herbs, supplements, and relaxation training.
Yes, acupuncture can help sleep, after acupuncture usually pt feels want to sleep and night time they can fall asleep right way.
Usually, yes, acupuncture can be a good choice for treating insomnia. In the Chinese medical model, there are a few different reasons why insomnia occurs and, to get the best results, you need to make sure you're seeing an acupuncture provider who can make that differentiation and provide the correct treatment.
To get a list of local providers, use the "Find a Practitioner" lookup at NCCAOM.org. This will ensure you're seeing a board certified and state licensed acupuncturist who will be in the best position to make sure you get the most out of treatment.

In my experience, yes. Make sure to find a fully trained acupuncturist who has a graduate level degree in Chinese Medicine though and not a poser for best outcomes.
