Acupuncture with herbs for eyes, and sometimes massage, can help you with your vision. I suggest you try it.

I can't say I have a lot of experience, but I suspect it would, depending on the cause.
Acupuncture benefits eyesight for patients with vision loss, according to Beijing University of Chinese Medicine researchers. Results from a controlled investigation by Yan et al., published in the Journal of Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, tested the efficacy of a four point acupuncture prescription for the treatment of vision loss. Based on the data, the researchers determined that acupuncture benefits vision.
Acupuncture measurably caused significant improvements in important visual indices. Acupuncture significantly improved mean sensitivity (MS) and decreased mean defect (MD) for patients participating in the study. In addition, acupuncture significantly increased the visually evoked potential (VEP).

Acupuncture treatment works on balancing your internal organ which supports vision. In other words, yes, acupuncture treatment works on some vision problems.
Thanks for mailing me about the question of acupuncture,
Yes, generally speaking, very helpful, but it depends on different problems.

There are many reasons why someone has vision issues, and sometimes it requires the help of an optometrist or ophthalmologist. We recommend working with those specialists first, and then we can further discuss how to improve the vision. Acupuncture can definitely be beneficial to improve some of the patient's concerns.

In acupuncture school, we were told that after age 8, it's very challenging to improve vision. But my father, Dr. Philip Newman, a master healer, improved his vision with eye exercises.
My vision went from a -4.00 to a -3.25 when I did pilates for a full year consistently. A leading ophthalmologist told me when we strengthen the abdominals, we strengthen all the organs and tissues, including the eyes! For more, newmansacupilates@gmail.com

There are points that can help with vision for various problems. I would contact the practitioners in your area and ask if they have had success treating whatever is causing your poor vision. They may also have some herbal formulas that could be helpful.
Like in most cases, how effective acupuncture might or might not be is going to depend heavily on what, exactly, is wrong with the patient's vision.
Issues like diabetic retinopathy can be difficult, especially if the patient's blood sugar is not under control. Some types of congenital visual issues don't respond particularly well.
I've personally gotten good results for patients with wet macular degeneration, dry macular degeneration, retinopathy other than diabetic, glaucoma and cataract if it's caught early.
There are several health issues, and visual issues are among them, where it's in a patients' best interest to make sure they're seeing an actual board certified and state licensed acupuncturist, rather than a chiropractor or physical therapist who may have minimal training. To find a local board certified acupuncturist, you can use the "Find a Practitioner" lookup at NCCAOM.org.
