Can celiac disease cause burning in your stomach?

I am a 49 year old female. I want to know if celiac disease can cause burning in your stomach?

Most commonly, celiac disease is a malabsorptive condition so people present with diarrhea, weight loss, anemia, elevated liver enzymes. Patient can have abdominal cramping with diarrhea. Burning gastric sensation is more likely acid related. Full GI evaluation is needed.

It is possible. Celiac can cause no symptoms, or it might cause a host of weird symptoms, including pain or burning. Once the celiac is treated effectively, then the burning should resolve if the celiac was causing that.
