It's possible but very likely to go away within 24 hours.

It all depends on a lot of factors, however in the majority of situations, it is extremely rare. Remember the goal of a chiropractic adjustment is to help your body become more functional in its actions and interactions. Did the dizziness occur while you were in the chiropractic office while getting adjusted? Talk to your chiropractor. Once you leave the clinic, it depends.
An adjustment can cause temporary dizziness that should disappear within a few minutes. If it does not, or happens more than once, then new imaging should be done starting with complete cervical spine X-ray. Based upon what is seen there, an carotid ultrasound imaging would also be prudent.
If done incorrectly yes, it can cause dizziness.
Neck adjustments should not cause dizziness. Some people will report temporary mild lightheaded feeling or a "buzz" right after their adjustment.
Due to the large number of neurosensors in the neck and especially the upper neck soft-tissue, being adjusted can cause some slight dizziness. If the dizziness is severe or persistent after an adjustment it is not normal, and may need to be evaluated for potential vertigo problems or other problems. Adjustments should be discontinued until cleared by a specialist, if it is severe or persistent.
Unfortunately, if done improperly, a chiropractic adjustment can cause dizziness. That is why it is important to get references or testimonials to know that your chiropractor is reputable and a good adjuster.
