Migraines can have different root causes, many of which can be managed and corrected nutritionally. Some causes may be from toxic burden on the bowel, kidneys or liver; tension headaches, allergic headaches related to food and environmental allergies, chronic sinus issues, blood sugar imbalances, or a copper imbalance. I help my patients get to the root cause of their migraines by running a screening test called hair mineral analysis which helps us determine how to assist the body in rebalancing the system and reduce the migraine pain.
Absolutely. It depends on severity and length of time, as increase in condition will take longer consistency to heal. For personal consultation, email newmansacupilates@gmail.com
Hello. Acupuncture is often helpful for reducing migraine severity and intensity. Typically the recommendation is one treatment per week for 6-8 weeks, and then we would try to space the treatments out and see if you still feel good. For example, can you go 2 weeks, then 3 weeks, etc. without treatment. Some people require monthly maintenance for migraines. It depends on how long they've been going on for, the trigger(s), etc. But I would recommend giving acupuncture a try if you can. I've treated many patients successfully for migraines over the years. Hope this help
