Yes a misaligned ankle can be realigned/fixed in several different ways.
A "misaligned" ankle can usually be repaired with surgery. It depends on what caused the misalignment and how long its been present. I would recommend seeing a podiatrist or orthopedic surgeon that specializes in ankles.
Yea with a fusion
Yes, that is something that can be done after proper assessment in person
Yes typically through surgery
Google Hyprocure. Hope it helps. We do this in our office.
I strongly suggest an evaluation with a foot and ankle specialist to address these concerns.
Usually surgery is needed.Check with an orthopedic surgeon with a specialty in foot and ankle surgery
This may require operative intervention. I recommend you schedule an appointment with a foot and ankle surgeon (podiatrist) for evaluation and treatment options
It really depends on what you mean by 'Misaligned.' An ankle joint can change/deform over long periods of time, sometimes leading to abnormal position and alignment of the joint; sometimes leading to arthritic changes. An ankle may also be 'misaligned' from contusion/severe sprain that results in an ankle dislocation or fracture. So I would really need more information and even a picture of an x-ray to help me further understand what you are trying to correct here. But, I will say, if there is severe misalignment, you may only have a couple of options; possibly even only 1 option. These options may include an ankle stabilzation procedure to repair ligaments and soft tissues, an ankle implant arthroplasty (total ankle joint replacement), or an ankle fusion.
