Usually not just comfort and supportive care is provided.
Generally while on hospice one cannot get physical therapy.
There are some cases that patients receiving hospice care will get physiotherapy. The nurse following the case normally can recommend therapy. From my experience I have seen people for transfer training and severe pain.
Yes, you can. Physiotherapy is meant to increase quality of life in patients on hospice. One can request it.
Hhmmm. I honestly am not sure. I would ask the hospice company. They would know the answer to your question.

Hello, it is possible to get bedside PT or even PT department therapy. Ask prior to admission to a hospice if bedside or PT gym therapy is available or if the patient is capable of more strenuous PT department gym treatment. Good luck, take care friend.
I have no experience working in a hospice. However as a physiatrist, I do believe that all patients regardless of the stage of life should be treated with physiotherapy when it is beneficial to the patient either for reduction of pain or ease in functioning.
Hospice is comfort care. PT is not part of it.
