Yes you can treat pancreatitis at home by converting to a clear liquid diet (mostly water) for 36-48 hours. Avoid alcohol. Try oral arnica to help with pain. Ox bile also helps.
Unfortunately, unlikely. You can change dietary habits, environmental placement and lifestyle changes. I would recommend an enzyme panel to be considered being that your pancreas is behind your stomach (telling the differences between stomach pain and digestive pain can mimic in similar side effects. One key component is to make sure you are hydrated. Fluids internally are very important to your organs lifespan and ow they all interact with one another to keep you going. In Health, Dr. Marchuk
Chronic pancreatitis can be difficult to treat and cause significant pain. Usually, NSAIDs or non-steroidal antiinflammatories can make the pain worse because they can be abrasive to the stomach and GI tract in general. Tylenol and Benadryl in combination can give some relief and also an antiacid medication like Pepcid. If the pain causes vomiting, fever, distention of the abdomen, or inability to maintain fluids to feel hydrated and relatively strong, then you should go to the emergency room. Avoid food high in fats or acidic food or drinks and follow up with your doctor regularly.
Usually, pancreatitis needs to be treated in the hospital with IV fluids and reduced oral intake. If you still have pain at home then pancreatitis may not have resolved sufficiently or it was not properly treated. I would need to know if you have acute or chronic pancreatitis because the treatments are very different.
