Chronic hiccups and burping?

So here is the background info. About 50 hours ago I developed the hiccups. The last few hours it accompanied by belching/burping. This is very uncomfortable, exhausting, and concerning. I went to a walk-in clinic yesterday and they gave me Baclofen, I only took one pill so far, which I know I need to take more so it builds up and can possibly help. I took a Xanax a few hours ago think that will relax me and help with the hiccups. It didn't really work.

I have been in contact with my GI doctor's office. They had me on Pantoprazole on October 6 to test if acid reflux was causing my Eosinophilic Esophagitis. My question is am I in any danger? Should I go to the emergency room? Or should I ride this out and talk to my GI doctor on Monday since they know I have the hiccup issue?

If the hiccups have not gotten worse and you have been evaluated for them already, then you should be okay to wait until your GI doctor calls you back. But obviously if it gets worse or you encounter more symptoms like trouble breathing, then you should definitely go to the ER. The baclofen usually also takes multiple doses taken regularly for it to truly help.
