Normally, it is cautious to place the patient on Antibiotics after gum graft surgery just to prevent or to lower the chance of getting an infection which will lead to graft failure.
It depends on each case. Doctor will decide if it is necessary or not, and will prescribe accordingly.
Usually, antibiotics are a good idea.
