Do all implants require bone grafts?

I am a 48 year old female. I want to know if all implants require bone grafts?

No it’s not true. Only those patients who have bone deficiency, either in height or thickness or both in the area of the implant going to be placed, then require bone grafts prior to placement of the implant.
Not all implants require bone grafts. Majority of the time when a tooth is extracted we bone graft for socket preservation and implant placement in 4 months. If a sinus has pneumatized, a sinus lift can often be performed at the time of implant placement. If a tooth has been missing for a long time, and there is significant bone loss, this often necessitates more complex bone grafting called Ridge Augmentation.
Hope this helps.

No. It depends on the situation and the actual bone available to place an implant in.
No certainly not ! Bone grafting is only necessary when the implant site needs repair or to be augmented to increase success of the implant . Many implant placements are in adequate bone and would not need any grafting
No, but many of them do. If in doubt, do the bone graft. It could only help the success of the implant.
