What is the next step after dental implants surgery?

I will have dental implant surgery. What is the next step after dental implants surgery?

After the implant is inserted into the jaw, several months will be needed in order for the bone to fully integrate. Another crucial stage involves the attachment of abutment. This is the component that screws onto the dental implant and supports the dental crown.
After dental implant surgery, the implants need time to integrate into the bone. This time period will range from 3-6 months depending on the location, amount of available bone, and bone density. Once the implants are integrated, a healing abutment will need to be placed if it was not placed at the time of the implant surgery. The healing abutment will need to be connected to each implant for 1 month to help contour the tissue for the final restoration. After the month has passed, the implants are now ready to be restored with an abutment and implant crown. Best regards, Jason D. Henderson, DDS
You have to wait for 3-4 months and then put a crown/ cap on implant
You'll wait for it to heal about 3 - 4 months to find it time to fully fuse in your bone. Then you'll schedule an appointment to take some impressions so it could be sent to the lab for a new crown fabrication
