I am wondering. Do doctors prescribe mental drugs without giving patients a proper diagnosis? Is this right? If I was a doctor and if I gave any patient any type of drug, what will this do to my employment and license?

Most physicians have made a clinical diagnosis before they prescribe medications. The criteria they use to make a diagnosis may differ. And most physicians are knowledgable about the medications they prescribe and understand risks and benefits.
