Do neck braces help posture?

I am a 23 year old male. I want to know if neck braces help posture?

There are only THREE main indications for someone to wear a standard neck brace:
1) post neck (i.e., cervical-spine) surgery, until healing takes place
2) for significant neck injuries with significant pain/instability--only for finite periods of time
3) for certain neck pain syndromes where keeping the neck in a neutral position is beneficial

**You ONLY want to use a neck brace for the SHORTEST TIME necessary for pain relief and/or healing purposes, as prolonged use of a neck brace WEAKENS THE NECK MUSCLES and thus can be counterproductive.
Yes, but only temporarily -- you really need to get into an exercise regimen and/or see a chiropractor.
I don’t believe they do. Thoracic extension exercises definitely help slumped posture.
No. Improved balance and posture will follow. Exercises such as walking backwards with arms in the air can make a big improvement. Consider getting chiropractic adjustments, too.
