Does PCOS affect growth, height, and physical development?

For females does PCOS affect growth, height, and physical development? I know it depends, it doesn't happen to everyone but still like does it affect?

Dear patient,

Skeletal observations reveal slightly higher trunk height and smaller leg size compared to norms due to hormone changes. PCOS affects hair growth and distribution as well as other skeletal changes due to male hormones.may be overweight, susceptible to type 2 diabetes, menstrual dysfunction.

Respectfully,

No, usually when a teenager is diagnosed with PCOS, her growth is finished and final height is already achieved.
PCOS typically causes abnormal hair growth, acne, irregular periods, and obesity. When it comes to physical growth, particularly height, PCOS does not seem to affect this. A study published in Endocrine Abstracts in 2012 by Zabuliene et al. did not find a difference in height between female patients with PCOS and those without PCOS. They did find that women with PCOS had a larger body frame size, longer torso, higher and narrower pelvis, and shorter extremities compared to women without PCOS.
