I do acupuncture and stimulate the points with needles. I do not do acupressure
Yes they do
PC6 is very effective, depends on what you are looking for. Yes, would be my answer.
Yes you better try, or see good provider for help.
Some studies have concluded that acupressure is effective at treating certain symptoms. This is an alternative technique used in conjunction with acupuncture.
Good afternoon,

Every acupuncture point (acupressure point) has its own function and effect. Another word, it does work. But, different points for different problems.

Yes. Not as effective as actual needling, though.
yes
Acupressure can be a very effective treatment for many conditions. It isn't as effective as acupuncture for some only because some points are too deep to be effected by pressure and need a needle instead.
Yes! Acupuncture works! There are tons of scientific articles and more than 3,000 years of literature/evidence.
Yes they do work. Not as strong therapeutic effect as an acupuncture. Some relief and results are expected if you choose right set of points.
All the best

Yes, acupressure can be very effective by applying pressure to acupuncture points on the body, which are located on meridians the correspond to organs, improving that organs function.

Thank you for your inquiry,

Acupressure is the use of pressure to stimulate the acupuncture points (nerve structures in the body), but putting metal acupuncture needles into the acupuncture points gives a stronger effect to the nervous system. You can also put into several points at once and leave for 20 minutes. You cannot do this with acupressure, acupressure is more painful than the needles. We do use acupressure to locate and test for the best acupuncture points to use before putting in the needle.
Acupressure does work. In my practice, I use mainly acupuncture; however, I teach my patients acupressure points that they can use in between treatments to help their ailments, and I find it very successful. I even use it on myself when I don't have needles at hand and have a headache or a stomachache. Acupressure uses the same principles as acupuncture but instead of needles, it is done by applying digital pressure over acupuncture points or trigger points. It has been proven effective for nausea and vomiting post-chemotherapy or post-surgery, sleep problems, headaches, pain, and emotional distress.
I hope this helps.
Of course, it works or people would not have been using it for thousands of years. That said it is not as effective and using needles but will do in a pinch. Also, you need to know which points to use. For that, you need a diagnosis. For example, He Gu (LI4) is used for headaches. But you need to know what is causing the headache and use the appropriate point for the cause. Otherwise, the headache will either not go away or just come back again.
Acupressure is simple and safe and effective. In particular, it helps to balance the Qi flow. Acupressure was used to press all the acupuncture points to treat people with special conditions. Acupressure really works.
Yes, acupressure really works if applied by an experienced practitioner.

Yes
It depends on the conditions. Acupressure points will provide a short relief if the points are selected well.
Not having ever practiced acupressure, I can't really say. It uses the same points as acupuncture, so I would presume there would be similar benefits.
Yes, many acupressure points really work well.
Acupressure works for me... but I am fully trained in the medicine.
They do! Acupressure can be used to treat pain, help quit smoking, curb appetite, and much more.
They can and do, yes. Some are better than others because certain channels and their points lie deeper in the body than others, so some points are more easily accessible.
Well, acupuncture points really work. There's a great deal of science supporting acupuncture's use in a wide variety of conditions. Most pragmatic studies comparing acupuncture against conventional treatments (usually pharmaceuticals) show acupuncture being at least as good as prescription medications across many conditions. Usually those studies also show minimal side effects/adverse events for acupuncture relative to medication.
Is acupressure as good as acupuncture? In my opinion, no, it isn't.
