The biopsy can cause a dull pain. Your doctor will give you a pain medication prescription for few days. However, the discomfort is very tolerable. You will receive IV sedation and after the procedure you will be taken to a recovery area. Plan to have someone to drive you back home. You can continue your daily activities as soon as you feel adequate. However, it is recommended not submerging the skin area of biopsy in water (no swimming or wetting the area), and not strenuous exercises for at least a week. Please, check with your healthcare provider. Thank you.
It is a bit painful but most discomfort is reduced by anesthesia.
If u hurt from the dental work and the pressure while ur dentist working with ur bones same Kind of feeling with bone marrow but lidocaine local numbness would help to reduce the pressure and pain.
Some discomfort, not painful.
