“Does lying on the floor help back pain?”
I am a 36 year old female. I want to know if lying on the floor helps back pain?

Lying on the floor can sometimes aid in allowing your back to relax. It can also be very helpful to roll up a towel or small pillow and place it under your low back area and bend your knees so that your feet are flat on the floor. This may provide you with some rest and temporary relief, depending.
In most cases lying on the floor makes the back pain worse or if you don’t have back pain, can eventually cause it. There is not enough support of the lower spine when lying on such a hard surface.
