Does teeth cleaning make teeth whiter?

I am a 17 year old male. I want to know if teeth cleaning makes teeth whiter?

Yes. Teeth cleaning will remove external stains and accretions (stuff stuck to the surface) form your teeth. How much whiter depends on your diet and home care. Some one who does not floss and brush and smokes and drinks tea and coffee will see a much greater difference than someone who brushes and flosses with a whitening tooth paste and does not smoke or drink colored drinks. It will not remove internal stains-that's where bleaching comes in.
Yes, by getting buildup and stains off of the teeth. It will not make white whiter, though.
Yes. A professional cleaning can help remove calculus (tarter) and surface stains, both of which make teeth look "whiter." It is also an opportunity to speak to the dentist if you want to whiten further.
Short answer is yes. More complicated answer would be how white...
Yes, teeth cleaning removes the plaque, calculus and some stains attached to teeth surfaces and can brighten your teeth. You may still need teeth whitening after your cleaning.
