Flu like symptoms multiple times a week?

Hello, I go for my follow up blood work tomorrow. I've had leukocytosis for a year. If my WBC and lymphocyte count is still high my doctor said she'd refer me to a hematologist. Over the past year, I've felt like I had the flu frequently. It used to just be when I would leave my house for more than a couple of hours but now I get it at least 2 or 3 times a week regardless of whether I do anything or just wake up sometimes. I get the flu-like overall body aches and extreme exhaustion and my loved ones note that my eyes look sunken in. Any ideas?

Your symptoms are real and indicate a lingering persisting problem; yes expert specialist evaluations are warranted; broad lab testing is warranted.
