Frequent urination?

I have been urinating a lot lately and I'm scared it might be something bad.

The good news is there’s nothing to worry about! Frequent urination can be due to increased caffeine intake which includes coffee Coca-Cola Jolt and Mountain Dew and it can also be due to just an increase in watery fruits like watermelon or just increasing your fluid intake with drinks like Gatorade and Powerade. If you have irritative voiding symptoms like burning and pain when urinating you may have a urinary tract infection. The first thing you need to do is to monitor what you’re drinking and what typically goes in will come out. So if you’re drinking a gallon of water a day expect to void a gallon of urine a day. Also, a urinalysis would be helpful to rule out an infection or other urologic problems.
Thank you for contacting FATD about frequent urination. This complaint alone doesn't suffice to provide a reasonable answer; a detailed history of symptom progression over a period, what and how much you have been consuming fluids/drinks, and many others is essential.
