“Growth under nail”
What could this be? Attached is a photo. I had it for years but it was never this big and all of a sudden these last couple of weeks it got so big and very painful as well, it is like hard skin growing under my nail.

From the history and appearance of the photos this could be an injury to the nail sustained a long time ago, often from aggressive manicuring. That has now become infected. Probably bacterial. You might need medical help, but try soaking the finger in salt water or burrows solution (domebro powder), a non-Rx found in certain pharmacies, with band aids.
