“Hives & itchiness following a Moderna booster shot?”
My husband got his Moderna booster shot last Thursday. He has been feeling unwell for the past 4 days. His arm is red and the redness is growing larger. It is extremely itchy. Should he take an antihistamine remedy?

Yes, that help until his reaction subsides. At 4 days, I would think him about at the end of his reaction.

Vaccinations can occasionally cause "large localized reactions" with redness and itching. A long acting antihistamine can help relieve these temporary symptoms. If he develops worsening swelling and/or fever, he should be seen by his primary doctor.
