“How do you know if a dog bite is serious?”
I am a 19 year old male. I wonder how can I know if a dog bite is serious?

They should be evaluated by a medical professional. Immunization records need to be reviewed for both the patient and the dog. Plus the wound needs to be evaluated for repair and/or antibiotics
If the skin around it is red, warm, swollen. If there is pus.
