There is an easy fix for night grinding. You should have your dentist make a night guard.
You will not stop grinding your teeth unfortunately. You should consider having a night guard made by your dentist.
Simple answer is you can't. That being said, dentistry can only provide a way to block the effects of the clenching/grinding (parafunctional habits) and that is by the use of appliance therapy. This is also called Night Guard therapy and the specific type is decided by your doctor.
Teeth grinding might have a different origin. Loss of teeth, narrow dental arches, airway problems, just to name a few. You will need a diagnosis first to solve your problem. Sometimes a night guard will be a good solution to protect your teeth from getting prematurely used.
Night time appliance such as a night guard is the only way to help control the clenching and grinding of your teeth at night. It's a subconscious thing we do without knowing it in our sleep.
You should consult a dentist. It is quite likely that you need to wear an appliance called an occlusal guard that will help with this.
