I have head pain from neuralgia. What should I do? What are the treatment options?

Starting with therapy along with medications (analgesics, anti-inflammatories, nerve blocks) and ultimately surgery if needed are all possible treatment modalities. Talk to your doctor to determine where your condition is at and what would be the optimal treatment for you. Good luck. Dr. F
Typically neuralgia responds to medication. Carbamazepine and oxcarbazine are used most commonly.
