How do you treat nail fungus in children?

My son has nail fungus. What are the treatment options?

Depending on the severity and what has been tried before, there are several options. The one that I have had the most success with is Lamasil either topical or oral. It is also important to identify other risk factors.
Topical anti-fungal medicine is still a safe choice for treatment (takes several weeks to months), but I’d speak with a pediatrician about all current options and decide which is the best for you and yours. Thank you for asking for my service.

Clotrimazole topical cream works well for children’s toe fungus applied twice daily for four weeks. Approved for children over 3 years old. Topical Vicks Vapo Rub helps eliminate toenail fungus also applied each night.
