I was diagnosed with rectal prolapse. What are my treatment options?

Usually the best treatment is surgery. It's called a rectopexy. The only other treatments are medical, such as avoiding constipation, using laxatives, biofeedback with physical therapy if there is also a defecation disorder.
Surgery, consult GI first.
