It varies Sometimes patients will be on solid foods the next day and sometimes it will take three weeks. The two considerations are comfort and retention. Hopefully, the dentures will stay in place on their own but often a denture adhesive will greatly assist. If the denture is uncomfortable then most dentists offer free adjustments and you should return to the clinic where your denture was made for adjustments to the fit and/or bite.
Hi. Timing varies on an individual basis.  Normally you should be able to slowly transition to solid foods after work or two.
