If you have minimally invasive arthroscopic debridement without other complications you can often get out of the boot within a few weeks. This question is too vague to give an answer. It depends on what type of ankle surgery what was the cars what was the procedure. Generally, boots are worn for 4-6 weeks depending on the tape procedure. If it is an arthroscopy procedure, then it is less time.
