How do they fix bunions with flat feet?

Usually, in fixing a bunion with flat feet, the only difference is that the osteotomy or bone cut would be more proximal, i.e., fuse the joint further from the actual bunion.

Can you fix bunions without surgery?

If you had open reduction internal fixation of the fracture, after 6-8 weeks post-op and physical therapy you can resume normal activity as tolerated

Are usually recommend ice, elevation and compression. Also over-the-counter NSAIDs will help with inflammation.

Usually an ankle brace will work well as well as proper tennis shoes which are rigid as opposed to flexible
