I am a 63 year old male. I want to know how long does it take to recover from prostate surgery?

There are at least several types of prostate surgery. Recovery would depend on which one you are contemplating. Radical prostatectomy would require a longer recovery period and it would also depend on your state of health. TURP would be shorter barring any unforeseen complications. I would recommend discussing this with your urologist.
