How long does postpartum anemia last?

I was diagnosed with postpartum anemia. Will it go on its own? What should I do?

If you are eating a well rounded diet it should last no longer than six weeks, depending on how anemic you were.
Hello,

If your post-partum anemia is related to transient blood loss, this may resolve with time. One can consider starting empiric over-the-counter oral iron supplementation 65mg-200mg daily to help your blood counts recover. That said, depending on your degree of anemia and/or whether there are other contributing causes, you may need additional medical assistance for
adequate recovery.
You should see a competent doctor! There is no such thing as "postpartum anemia". This is likely due to iron deficiency due to pregnancy. If your doctor cannot diagnose that, he should not be practicing medicine..
