Lasik surgery in most cases is relatively quick - depending on the surgeon & procedure. If you are a typical routine case with no significant complication - probably about 10 minutes per eye. But every case is not exactly the same, so when you get your consultation, confirm with the doctor for sure.

Lasik surgery usually takes from 20-30 minutes but this time frame can vary from patient to patient. And you should expect to be available for 3-4 hours between the pre-op preparation, forms that need to be filled out, instructions, and the post-operative care and instructions. Please check with your refractive surgeon/ophthalmologist in order to get a more precise idea as to what to expect, time-wise. Good luck and best wishes.
The LASIK procedure only takes about 5-6 minutes per eye to perform. It is a very fast procedure. So as stressful as the thought of having laser eye surgery is, the fact that the procedure is so quick should help immensely. In fact, in experienced hands, the femtosecond laser flap creation in the first step should only take about 30 seconds, and the excimer prescription correction in the second step should only take 60 seconds, so only about 90 seconds of actual procedure time per eye.
