Eye pressure in a glaucoma patient should be checked on average every three
months but the frequency varies based on the severity of the problem.
months but the frequency varies based on the severity of the problem.
Annually, unless there is a concern for glaucoma

Eye pressure known as intraocular pressure should be checked with annual eye exams; however, eye pressure may be checked when the eye doctor is concerned that the pressure may be too high or too low. If you are diagnosed with glaucoma, your pressure will be checked much more often and possibly treated with glaucoma medications, glaucoma laser and/or surgical procedures.
It depends on your Family history any glaucoma, if your are myopic, history of eye trauma, race( african american much higher risk at earlier age compared to white) or if you are glaucoma suspect. Then every year or it depends on the condition and risk factors 2-3 x per year. If answer to all of the above is no then every 12-24 months.
If you don't have any diagnosed ocular condition, your eye pressure should be checked once a year at your annual eye examination.
