Usually six months after delivery.
That is an interesting question. I would say you really do not want to be picking up anything heavier than 10 pounds for at least 2 weeks after LASIK. The real question is are you a good candidate. Breast feeding as well as pregnancy can cause a prescription shift. You really want to make sure that your vision and prescription is stable.
I usually tell patients to wait about 6 months after pregnancy . If breastfeeding I would tell patients 6 months after done breastfeeding  . This is to allow hormone levels to stabilize .  Sent from the all new AOL app for iOS
Congrats on the new addition to the family! The easy answer is 3 months after delivery...but, we also like to see 2 "normal" cycles before proceeding. If you will be nursing, we also like to see 2 normal cycles before proceeding. Hope that helps! As always, please consult with your LASIK provider for his/her personal guidelines. I like to tell my patients to wait a few months after delivery since your hormones are still fluctuating and that can fluctuate vision too.
