“How soon after tooth extraction can you get a bridge?”
I will have a tooth extraction. How soon after tooth extraction can you get a bridge?

You can get a temporary bridge immediately after extraction. The permanent bridge will be placed after the tissues in the area of extraction has healed completely.
I usually do a temporary bridge at the time of extraction as it aids in healing as well as provides a tooth straight away. The permanent bridge is done after 5-6 weeks of healing.
You could get a provisional bridge done same day. But for the final bridge I would recommend a month to let everything heal properly
It's generally good practice to wait at least 3 months after tooth extraction to have your bridge made. This allows your gums and jaw bone to stabilize and provide a predictable shape. You will be placing the bridge in an area that is not likely to change shape significantly after delivery or cementation. If you place the bridge immediately after tooth extraction, you run the risk of gums changing shape as your extraction site heals. This can mean the bridge could eventually be poorly adapted to the gum tissues upon which it rests.
