I cannot breathe like I used to?

I have been having shortness of breath for the past 3 weeks of my life. I am currently on levothyroxine for hypothyroidism, and every time I am standing up or lying down, my lungs won’t fully expand to get the air I need and it’s been consistent. My mom tells me that “I’m fine” when I haven’t been with my breathing and I’m very worried.

You need to get checked by your doctor - she/he needs to listen to your lungs and your heart to make sure they sound okay as well as check your thyroid levels to make sure they too, are normal in order to determine if you have a problem.
You need to see your primary care doctor and also see the endocrinologist to make sure if there is something else that needs investigation.
I would recommend evaluation by a doctor to make sure there are no issues.
