“I have neck and shoulder pain?”
I have neck and shoulder pain and swelling for about one month. It’s only on one side. My neck muscles are tight. No numbness or tingling. I’ve been going to physical therapy and recently it’s been making my other shoulder hurt and now the right side of my neck is right along with my shoulder. No swelling on that side.

Conditions: History of thyroid cancer herniated disc in lumbar spine

I would recommend going to see somebody about your neck. Neck imaging may provide more information.

I suggest you stop therapy and have your neck and shoulder assessed for any problems by your doctor. Get some imaging studies and make sure there's no acute process going on.
