It is one of the best treatments for neck pain that does not involve drugs.
Whether or not chiropractic care is best for neck pain depends on what is wrong with your neck. So if you have a diagnosis write back and let me know.
I treat patients with neck pain using chiropractic manipulation, applied kinesiology, massage, and exercises.

If your neck pain stems from joint dysfunction, muscle spasm or disc herniations, then yes.

In most cases, Chiropractic treatment is excellent in resolving Neck Pain. Although, if the Neck Pain is from an injury, such as a Car Accident or Sports Injury, gentle treatment methods are needed to start with. Also, if the Neck Pain is chronic (>3 months), then resistance exercises specifically for the Neck will need to be done in conjunction with the Chiropractic treatment.
The internet searches in total say its the best for long term correction.
Yes, chiropractors are highly trained in spinal adjustment that can relieve pain.
Yes. Have a chiropractor dx your neck pain, and if they can work on it Great! If not have them refer out to another specialty.
Chiropractic is great for neck pain! It is SO important that you have your neck pain evaluated though. If your neck pain is the result of injury (car accident, sports, etc.), there can be underlying trauma that should be carefully examined. In most cases your chiropractor can provide safe, gentle adjustments that will help you heal and reduce your pain. However, they may find you have a fracture or other concern and refer you to an appropriate care specialist.
In my experience as a Chiropractic Physician for over 30 years, I can attest that Chiropractic manipulation of the neck for most causes of neck pain is the absolute best. If there is a severe disc bulge or herniation, then it is not recommended. A combination of manipulation, muscle stretching, trigger point therapy and maybe traction will resolve most cases of neck pain. If it doesn't work, a referral to an ortho for surgical consult is usually warranted. Try Chiropractic first!
