“Is it a yeast infection or a urinary tract infection?”
I have brownish discharge, thin mucus, no smell, itchy around the vagina, tender throbbing feels like kind of puffy swollen on top of the vagina. I took phenazopyridine 100 mg tab. When I douche the throbbing and swollen feeling went away for a few hours then it came back later on.

Hello, Your symptoms don't sound to be of a urinary tract infection (does not mean you dont have one). I think with your symptoms you would better be served by going to see an OB/GYN provider to be evaluated further. Karini Maximoss, CRNM, MSN, BSN
It is likely something else. This is not a yeast infection or a urinary tract infection. Please do not douche...that ends up sending the infection further up into the uterus. Please see a gynecologist.
