Is it safe for a person with a low Igg to take prednisone?

I went to an Urgent Care facility because I had an earache and ringing in my ear left ear. I had an MRI done the previous week for an unrelated issue and found that my left mastoid was completely opaque. The doctor prescribed an antibiotic and prednisone My question to you is that I have an igg deficiency is it safe for me to take prednisone? I am a 63 year old female.

Complaint duration: 7 days
Medications: Lisinopril, gaberpentin, synthroid, famitodine
Conditions: High blood pressure,neuropathy

We recommend you follow up with an ear, nose, and throat (ENT) physician to review MRI findings in regard to your left mastoid. In addition, we recommend you contact your physician who treats your IgG deficiency to inquire about prednisone.
I believe it would be ok for you to take prednisone, but check with your primary physician to certain.
