Generally yes but you need to know the type and severity of arthritis. You may have to try different adjustment approaches to see what works best for you. There is no One Size Fits All. You are the only you in this vast universe,
Yes, it is safe to get adjusted if you have arthritis. The majority of our patients do.
Yes, Chiropractic is the number one option to help you with osteoarthritis.
Most definitely. A chiropractor can make having arthritis more manageable to live with.
yes
Yes, but it's best to take all records of imagining with you to your first visit.
It is safe for someone with arthritis to go to a chiropractor. In fact, it is one of the best things that you can do. After doing a detailed history and examination, the chiropractor would more than likely get a set of X-rays to determine the severity of arthritis. This will allow them to determine if there is any contraindications, and it will help them to determine the best treatment plan in your case.

Yes, it is safe to go with arthritis and most likely any arthritic symptoms will be helped with care. Any arthritic symptoms will be evaluated by the chiropractor and treated or left alone accordingly.

Yes, it is. The majority of chiropractors take X-rays on the first visit, but there are some that don't. They are done for three main reasons. The first two are protection for the patient and the doctor by being able to see what condition the spine is in before treatment. Third, it gives the doctor a valuable diagnostic tool to better determine the right treatment plan for the patient. Personally, I don't take films on patients under 12 unless I detect scoliosis or there has been an injury. All others I do. In your case, if the doctor says that he/she does not need X-rays, I would find one that requires them.

Absolutely. Most of the patients chiropractors see suffer with osteoarthritis.
If a patient has joints with active swelling, I would not recommend going to a chiropractor. If you can't get swelling under control, it would be dangerous to get an adjustment.
Chiropractic is safer than aspirin. It is best to go to a chiropractor to help prevent arthritis. If you have arthritis, it is still typically very safe, and it may be able to slow the arthritis down. A good chiropractor will take a history and do an examination to make sure that you are a good candidate and that there are minimal risks.
Yes, Chiropractic is a great option for treatment of Osteoarthritis. It can decrease the pain, improve joint mobility, and slow the progression of the arthritis.
