Is pelvic vein embolization painful?

I will have pelvic vein embolization. I am afraid. Is it painful?

You like to have a tiny bee sting of numbing medicine in your right neck. After that, you shouldn’t feel anything except maybe a flush of warmth from the dye used to map veins. Pain after depends on what is embolized but generally very easy recovery.

Not typically, but it would be best if you got direct counsel from the physician doing the procedure.
There is occasionally discomfort during the embolization and for a few days after. However, everyone is different. You may notice no discomfort. During the procedure, pain medication is usually given by IV.
There is mild discomfort usually relieved with sedation
