I am a 58 year old female who suffers from tendonitis. What happens if tendonitis goes untreated?

It will either go away--most likely, persist, or worsen(especially if the activity that caused it is continued)
It hurts for longer. The best treatment is also the cheapest: don’t do things that hurt.
Inflammation causes further irritation and fluid build up which can lead to infections.
