Hepatologist Questions Hepatologist

Liver CT scan show cirrhosis?

I had a CT scan recently and it showed severe fatty liver. I know if I don't make changes it can become cirrhosis but If i already had cirrhosis would the radiologist diagnose that in the findings?

First thing I would find out is if you have an a SH. Non-alcoholic steatohepatitis. If that’s the case and you are not a drinker or uses multiple medications that are filtrate through the liver, you’re right at the top of the list if it is that extreme. There are things you can do and I highly recommend a hepatologist over a gastroenterologist. They are specialists of specialists. I do know several; I don’t know where y’all are located, so that would make it difficult in order for a referral. But if you’re already at that stage, you’re probably seeing a liver specialist, a hepatologist.
I wish you luck, I wish you well, may God be with you and be well.

Be well,
